What do the different status titles mean?
(Blank)/APPLICANT: This is the first status that you will see on your profile/application. This status will remain until you have uploaded a profile photo & at least 4 photos to the profile gallery. Once you've completed all the necessary requirements to your profile it will be updated to either 'Awaiting Interview' or 'App on File (will Call)'.
Awaiting Interview: This means your applications has been accepted. And the Hiring process can begin. The next step is for you to contact us via IM with a list of good times that one of our managers/administrators can contact you. You will then be interviewed. Do not expect this to be a typical interview. Small talk is part of the process.
Hired (Processing): This means your Interview did go well & you have been hired. The next step is to do one of 2 things: Either get together with one of our photographers for a 'test shoot'. Or if you cannot drive to one of our current photographers, you can try to get a friend or another photographer to do the 'test shoot' for you.
App on File (Will Call): This does not mean that you have been 100% rejected. Basically what this means is that we don't think that we would be able to fit you into a schedule at this time. This could be because of several reasons; you seem to not have a flexible schedule in your current life, you have family conflicts that you need to focus on first, you have a significant other that doesn't like what your doing and it could cause problems, there is a number of reasons for this... We will be in touch with you if we can find a spot for you... Your Profile/App will be disabled completely if your have been 100% rejected, and an email will be set to you with a reason why. Any Actions on your profile should never be taken personal. We say this because well, it has happened before. Your profile is viewed by several people before it is accepted...
